이태원 클럽으로 전파된 확진자 수는 현재 19일 187명이며 이는 클럽을 방문한 수보다 클럽을 방문자와 접촉한 수가 더 크다.

That's because in South Korea when someone tests positive for COVID-19, the country typically releases information about a patient's age, gender and the places they visited.

In some cases, even the patients' last names and occupations are made public on a Ministry of Health and Welfare website.

가끔은 심지어 환자의 성과 직업등을 보건복지부사이트에서 확인할 수 있게 한다. 

Authorities are still trying to find more than 2,000 people and have been scouring CCTV footage and phone location data to try to identify customers.

The bars were supposed to keep a record of names and contact numbers for visitors, but authorities say a lot of it was fake or incomplete.
